Q: Who do I need to contact for parts, service, or warranty?

A: For parts, service, or warranty, contact your selling Marquis dealer. If you purchased your boat through a private party, you can locate a dealer using the Dealer Locator within the Marquis Website.

 

Q: I’m on vacation and not near my selling Marquis dealer. Who do I call for service, parts, etc.?

A: You need to contact your selling Marquis dealer. They will work with you to locate a repair facility in your area.

 

Q: I have an older model Marquis boat and would like to replace my interior. How far back does Marquis have patterns?

A: Marquis tries to maintain patterns for five years. The only fabric available would be current fabric, subject to change. Fabric can be ordered through your Marquis dealer.

 

Q: How do I acquire an owner’s manual for my Marquis Yacht?

A: You can order an owner’s manual through your Marquis dealer as far back as Model Year 1976. (Make sure you have the Hull Serial Number when placing your order.)

 

Q: Is there a product available to protect my Karadon Countertops from scratching?

A: Karadon recommends “Countertop Magic.” This should be applied regularly and can be purchased at Home Depot.

 

Q: Can I purchase engine parts from Marquis, i.e. oil filters, air filters, etc.?

A: You must contact the engine manufacturer for all engine parts.

 

Q: How much weight will my hardtop carry?

A: None. The hardtop was not designed to carry any type of load on any Marquis model.

 

Q: How much weight will my swim platform carry?

A: All Marquis models differ. Contact your Marquis dealer for specific weight recommendations.

 

Q: Why doesn’t Marquis sell parts retail?

A: Our dealers are our partners. We need to support their investment in Marquis. It also enhances your relationship with the dealer.

 

Q: How do I determine the gel color for my Marquis boat and where can I order gel?

A: For current model year boats, contact your Marquis dealer.

Q: How far back does Marquis have patterns for canvas?

A: When replacing the complete canvas, Marquis tries to maintain patterns for five years. If you’re replacing only partial sections of your canvas, seek assistance at your local canvas shop.

 

Q: Is it safe to use Ethanol-Blended Gasoline in my Marquis Yacht?

A: Marquis recommends that you contact the engine manufacturer directly to be sure it will not cause damage. (They may have information posted on their websites. See Marquis Service Vendor List for direct links to their websites.)

 

Q: What do I need to do to keep my high gloss exterior table looking new?

A: High gloss exterior tables are a custom ordered table and do require regular care and maintenance. The table should be cleaned weekly with non-abrasive soap and water. To remove minor scratches and to protect the surface, use 3M Perfect-It Polish applied with a soft polishing pad. When the table is not in use it should be kept covered with a water resistant breathable cover to protect it from the elements.

 

Q: Are Exterior High Gloss or Teak Tables covered under warranty?

A: There is no warranty coverage by Marquis, or the vendor of Marquis, once the table is exposed to daily temperature changes. This affects wood when it naturally expands and contracts.

 

Q: What do I need to do to keep my exterior Teak table looking new? (NOT high gloss finish)

A: Your exterior Teak table should be oiled with a high quality teak oil. This should be done on a regular basis. We recommend a monthly application to keep the wood from drying out. When the table is not in use it should be covered with a water resistant breathable cover to protect it from the elements.
