About Marquis

Marquis' own, internal development team is comprised of veteran designers, engineers, propulsion experts and modelers that represent literally dozens of decades of large yacht experience with committed expertise in all marine disciplines. To make Marquis a world-class yacht builder, new standards were established to ensure each project maintained a higher level of commitment through every step of the construction process.
The naval design firm of Nuvolari-Lenard, from Venice, Italy, is internationally renowned as specialists in the design and construction of large, high-end production and custom yachts. This firm's expertise results from their direct involvement in a wide range of yacht-building activities, from design to total project management, to customized interior design, to serving as surveyors and owner's representatives during construction, sea-trial and delivery. 
Nuvolari-Lenard collaborated with Marquis in the development of Marquis Yachts distinctively sculpted exterior architecture. Don Blount & Associates, based in Norfolk, VA is a naval architecture and marine engineering firm specializing in state-of-the-art technical services for the development and construction of high-performance marine vessels. This company has extensive experience in bringing advanced technology to the design, evaluation, testing and construction management of motoryachts, sportfishers, commercial and military craft. Don Blount & Associates collaborated with Marquis in verifying the structural and performance applications of Marquis Yachts.

Tig Welder - 1st shift
Pulaski, WI

Under the direction of the Metal Shop Supervisor or Team Leader, performs a variety of welding operations such as tig welding of stainless steel and aluminum and mig welding of stainless steels, aluminum and mild steel.  Previous tig welding experience is required and a weld test will be required before hire.


  • Performs a variety of operations to include tig and mig welding of stainless steel, aluminum and mild steel.  Finished parts must conform to established quality standards and engineering specifications.  Part sizes and quantities will vary according to manufacturing orders.
  • Performs materials transportation and handling functions to facilitate appropriate movement of supplies, part and finished products into, out of and within the department
  • Ability to understand and execute manufacture order requests and bill of material reports
  • Ability to understand quality standards, engineering specifications and engineering drawings
  • Assists in the training of others
Lamination Fabricator - 1st and 2nd shifts available
Pulaski, WI

Under the direction of the Line Supervisor or Team Leader, performs a variety of tasks necessary to laminate or infuse fiberglass components or parts.  This includes spraying resin and rolling fiberglass for smooth finish, as well as wet and dry sanding or buffing fiberglass parts.



  • Installs fiberglass matt to wooden plugs or molds
  • Sprays resin
  • Rolls wet fiberglass with steel roller
  • Wet and dry stands fiberglass gel
  • Repairs cracks, scratches, mold marks, heat distortion, etc.
Boat Builders - 1st and 2nd shift available
Pulaski, WI

Under the direction of the Line Supervisor or Team Leader, performs a variety of tasks necessary to complete or finish the interior and exterior of the yacht.  This includes assembling and installing wood cabinets or trim, finished fiberglass components, carpeting or vinyl, basic wiring or wire harnesses, basic plumbing or fixtures, hanging or installing windows or doors, and installing televisions, radios, kitchen appliances, etc.



  • Installs fiberglass components such as hard tops, bridges, supports, etc.
  • Works with and installs wood components like cabinets, trim, etc.
  • Completes basic electrical wiring for kitchen appliances, televisions, radios, stereos, etc.
  • Completes basic plumbing and installs bathroom and kitchen fixtures
  • Installs carpeting and/or vinyl
Prototype Upholstery - Pattern Maker
Pulaski, WI

In conjunction with the prototype upholstery team, make patterns and prototype all canvas and upholstery for boats.  Assist with initial installation and troubleshooting issues that may arise in production.  Prior upholstery experience is required.  


  • Set up of new products including: Foam patterns, Vinyl patterns, Canvas, Covers, Sewing instructions, Tacking instructions, Initial build and install, Assembly numbers, Kit numbers, BOM creation
  • Model year changes
  • Assist with specials when creation of new patterns are required
  • Production troubleshooting, Identify root cause of the issue and come up with solutions
